Moon Crescent -by The Soggy Astronomer

the crescent -(•- moon concept

If i had one wish,
i’d wish to walk on water.
But moonlight vision concepts
are best left for moons
and the instruction of runes.

I used to want to fly,
a moon-man on the rise.
Now grounding seems wise
and sounding wiser.
This crescent moon concept

dances more than walks on water,
not talking, but whispering
about how flying things
and men with wings
must always land,

stand, and speak quietly

to the sea.

  1. Awesome! Love it! 😀

  2. I love this and the shot of the moon. I’m a huge fan of night shots. I recently bought a new camera to take night photos but I never seem to have the time. I love the detail on this photo. Sometimes when I look at the moon I wonder if loved ones are looking at the same moon and thinking of me. I do that a lot. Did you know just after sundown Venus, Jupiter and another star are visible in the West sky during the month of June? Just in case you think to look. You may already know. Last night was overcast and raining so you could not see them I bet being in Cal. you could see them much clearer. Have a super day and I loved this!
