We could meditate together

May 12 by The Running Son

we could meditate together

Sit here, with me.
Now breath girl,
and look deep in my eyes,
til you swear

you see moon in them,
and some other place, a lifeline
running back through space,
a matrix

connecting us—
bending light and finding eyes
that shape you
perfectly. Did I say

almond shaped eyes
help me find space in time?
Help me find rhymes
in space?

Or face you face
to face, me
and you, space
in time, you
and I, eye
to eye, both
and breathing

high, slowing
down, seeing
deep, staring
through, showing
you, seeing
us, sharing
me, sharing
you, sharing

  1. Whoa nice visual for my tired brain! I’d like to think a great massage and foot rub would go nicely with this and sipping on my fav wine. Ya that’s what I’m sayin’. I didn’t get a chance to read much today on WP but this is a great start to my evening!
