if i were a flashlight poem

if i were a flashlight poem

i will expand in any direction.
a light beams intention
is not to stand still.

a disconnection may yet bring light
to a window sill,
and fixed direction may

bring intention to you; still you,
til you find connection
with soul

and live
intentionally aglow.

  1. Love this! I could use a little light in my soul! I love your way of thinking!

My goodness. You’ve got a golden blog here. You spiritual truths are so profound.

    • eva. i spent a lifetime failing at everything. then, some weird life-achemy is making good things happen, long after i had given up.

not to mention a spiritual transformation. complete in its mind-bending frustrating lack of answers. like how to organize a blog. and tags. crap.

      • Eva PoeteX says:

“Failing” is what causes your vessel to sail on this spiritual river. Often we’ll flail our arms along the way, but learning experiences never fail us (I might need to include this in a poem). They can be found in every moment. Even the dark ones that we can’t stand.

Mind-alchemy can drastically change one’s aimless, muddled life into one full of promise and passion. I think Poetry is what really instigated this alchemical reaction within me.

“Til you find connection with soul and live intentionally aglow” – So good!!
