“Coming Home”
by nuriko-kun

¦solatëd ɸ Systëms

.I felt that.
I know it was you.
I know it—something moved
when you spoke.
I wish I could hear you.
This hoping so,
so isolates hearts, and creates holes.

Some holes feed on energy,
taking in the name of synergy,
to survive old winds
and souls thinning to keep alive.
No, no.
No more vortex to engulf.
The small things, rhythms

that shake inside you,
and move you to tears when
you dont want them to.
Those I hear,
listening through walls
and years of fear, and of calling
love nothing.

I come.

That’s a very beautiful poem. I like the picture to go with it – I don’t remember seeing it last time I read the poem. I like the thought of overcoming the walls and fears and coming home to Love. 🙂

You lit up my day. Keep on shining! 🙂

  4. Your poems are always raw and lovely, Jim.

    J, this is amaze-zing..
I like the visual too 🙂

    • 😉 The sites we find while off surfing for pictures. This one had tons of animated renderings, beautiful, all of them. I will use one of your drawings when you least expect it V… give you all the credit you deserve too…plus a little more.

  6. Those I silently hear…it is in the silence the heart speaks the loudest…don’t you think? I love your expression reminded me of hearts of old banging but no one hearing! 🙂

    • Did I never answer? omg. Yes, it is. the silences and omissions can be beautiful, necessary, and the nature of poetry…all the stuff left out, only suggested.

      • It is ok if you forget or do not respond you are a busy guy with a lot of thoughts to share! I do also believe sometimes there are not words to express what only our hearts can perceive. Have you ever been without and you just want to eat them up? You just can’t get enough? Like you cannot get close enough even if you sit in their lap? Those unspoken words are the coolest feeling! To me at least!

  7. Jim, you’ve outdone yourself!
