May 25 by The Running Son
I think I’m already there now.
It’s like I’m already with you.
I think we already see us
as undivided and see-through.
It’s like we’ve already met,
and no sea will ever stop you,
and no time difference can block
this distance helping me to see you.
So, I’ve let dream-powers loose.
May they touch, haunt and heal you;
my sun, your moon
Our stars– lights to shine as far
as two hearts could ever blend.
And you in me, undivided we
will color our new found smiles
with loams to mend; a blue sand rarity
making quick work of lonely distances
and time zones, with patient charity.
I will take the how and the some
in somehow, and make it spell
home, the only place I know with clarity.
