The tide§

Moons pull you
old heart.
Stars tune you.

Start full, divide
––low tide, too soon.
Cold, no room?

Fold through me
in bloom,
then renew,

my full moon.
Tides crystallize;
stars zoom,

two warm eyes,
culled blue.

  1. Eva PoeteX says:

    Your words awaken, my friend.

  2. Awh. That made me sigh! Been there not my favorite place to be but it gets better and tomorrow the sun comes up again. Amazing how no matter where you are in this walk one thing you surely can count on is the sun comes up again! Sometimes don’t you just wanna say the nerve of you to shine on? But it always does shine for sure! This I know! Bless your heart Jim.

    • Thank you Michelle. I have been thinking a lot, as a man, about moon phases, and cycles. This requires me to deep sea dive in to the world of the moon, and night time. Staying with the moon for awhile… (: then, as you said, the sun also rises. ☼

      • Life is cyclical and a stage of seasons and phases! There are 4 seasons to our lives spring-summer-winter-fall. I believe you are where you are for such a time as this! New birth for a new phase can be an adventure! Goodnight moon! 😀

  3. Devan says:

“New stars zooming into focus behind old eyes.” – Beautiful.
