Cryptic screenprint of BLOG SUSPENSION from WordPress help..

July 26 by The Running Son

UPDATE: back up. Explanation from WP pending…

This is the only indication of what the suspension might be based on. She has violated NONE of this. If anybody has any advice, I am waiting. I am emailing WP using any address I can find, joining every FaceBook page that has to do with WordPress difficulties, but so far silence, and no promise we will hear back anytime soon. The last time I used WP help forum it took them over 3 weeks to get back to me. I dont understand how she could just get suspended with NO specific reason, NO ability to access her old posts… this is crazy. If she is vulnerable, everybody is.

  1. Hello Jim, hope you are well, sorry to be absent so long and sorry to hear about Ar Vhee, I think she is a lovely young lady and a poet with a lot to say, is she okay? Best wishes and kind regards from Baldy 🙂

OK, what Oloriel says makes sense to me. I’ve actually seen “people” follow my blog that look strangely like Spam. I only follow someone back if I can be assure that they are a real person and have a real blog. This may be a new Spam tactic since I think WP does a fair job of gleaning Spam from comments. I’m wondering if there is any way to block someone/something from following me on WP (there is on Twitter and Facebook, so there should be something on WP). In the meantime, I’m going to download all my posts to my desktop. Sigh. WP should be considerate enough to at least notify bloggers when things like this happens, not just assume that the blogger herself is at fault. Thanks for alerting everyone, Jim. Now, keep downloading that wonderful poetry of yours! ❤ Namaste.

  3. I’ve not read of this happening before, Jim. Thanks for letting us know. Glad everything is up and running for her now.

    • ty Andra, it is. I cannot say I feel much relief, not until we get a specific answer as to the mus-classification, or whatever it turns out to be.

  4. Ar Vhee says:

Thanks Jim for help. I really appreciate it after six hours of being suspended/deactivated from wordpress, not to mention five reports submitted to them, I finally got my blog back up. They made a mistake and got my blog misclassified. I need to make a back up of all my poems now. it might happen again.

    Your help means a lot.

Strange. Never seen anything like it. Good luck!

Forgot to write also, there is a very easy way to save all your posts, when you find some time write to me on my e-mail.

    • I will. I remember hearing about backup procedures… like back in March.. wish I had listened then. Will b in touch once i find answers to the immediate problem. Thank you again, Oroliel. Always appreciated your support.

  7. Oloriel says:

This all now sounds to me like I mentioned to you allready. She posted or linked to a picture, probubly to accompany her posts which contained a virus, which then spread to other blogs and sent spam advertising messages. There is really nothing I can think of else that could pinpoint to a reason why the blog got closed down.
There is a blog-site that Followed me but when I clicked on it, it said blog is suspended, same message like from your first post, but the blog is up and runing now. I will leave you the address to that blog, so you can possibly inquire the founders of that blog as to how did they resolve the problem and got their blog back. Here it is:
I hope they will answer you and give you some insight or relief, seeing you will probubly wait a long time before getting any response from the managment here.

    • Oloriel you have helped more than you know. I will click thru, see if I can gain any insight. Maybe some answers. I’ll pub as I get answers. Bless you.

  8. alise says:

hmm, that is beyond unfortunate. the only thing that makes sense is someone hacked or she has a bug. maybe she clicked on a link while logged in and this happened. i don’t know anything about hacking but you are right, it can happen to anyone. let us know if she gets this figured out and what happened.

    • I will I promise. I promised her I would stay on this until I get answers and I will. I’ll publish everything I learn, particularly about the vulnerably of content..
