Hello guys! It has been awhile since I have written a post, and it is about time I update you all on what has been going on with me and the RFB.

First, for those who may have been following through the summer, I am living once again in the desert. My plan to move to Orange County to live with my ailing parents did not work out, and the August 3rd move was repeated the first week of September— but back to Joshua Tree.

I am at peace with the outcome, as my parents have the help they need, and we are all better off separated. For those of you aware that my blog was named and themed around being reunited with my family, I will write about it– however when I have processed it. My conflict over writing raw poetry about angry feelings verses poetry incorporating the refined solution—love, is over. I will honor my parents.

But something else happened that counterbalances any hurt I may feel, Something I dreamed for, like most warm blooded human beings.

coming_home_by_nuriko_kun-d47x9hzI fell in Love. In late April I met Rv. Many of you follow her blog. By early May I was a man in Love. Now, going on 5 months and 40,000 lines of chat later, we are beginning the process of  getting a fiance Visa. I have a long way to go, but nothing will stop me.

We created a blog to chronicle our efforts, and talk about relationships and Love called My Bridge to You. Soon I will have posted the whole story on a page. Please stop in… there will be posting on many different topics and you will no doubt find one that speaks to you, whether or not you have found love yet. (;

I am also writing for a new community poetry blog called the 13th Floor Paradigm. It is just starting up and could use your support!

Now that I am stabilized, I will enjoy reintegrating into the WP community, something I have neglected. My future is wide open and filled with hope. Thank you all of you who have followed along!

Love, Jim

  2. Shainbird says:

Hey, congratulations Jim and Ar Vhee, and best wishes!

  3. Oloriel says:

I am so happy for the love story of you two! 🙂

    • Oloriel, thank you! Only now was it time to be open in WordPress, but upon talking with Rv tonight I was corrected: just shy of 45,000 lines in chat. Embedded deep in those 45k lines is a love story I would like to capture for my own children, and lessons enough to fill a volume. ^_^

      • Oloriel says:

Yes, make sure to do that! Me and my husband did not save those, we were too love struck to think about saving logs and such and we both really wish we did save it, so our son could see those moments some day.
I knew who is your love miss already tho 😀 What I really wish for you two is that very fast all the miles betwwen you dissapear and you can be ine ach others embrace 😀

        • Ahh your words are music to my ears! It has become clear that I’ll have to fly and meet her soon: the fiance Visa requires that we meet. I have tons to do before that, and tons after. Oloriel… I wanna hear your story sometime! ^_^

  4. Cubby says:

What a wonderful love story. I think a lot can be learned about people from their writing, and the two of you express yourselves beautifully. I look forward to reading about your journey! 🙂

    • Cubby thank you so much from both of us! We are committed to capturing our story while it is playing out, thru poetry, blogging and any other way we can think of. Check back to My Bridge to You in a few days. Our story to date should be published in a page. Best to you (:

  5. ksbeth says:

    cool – all good )

  6. Ar Vhee says:

    (o^____^o) ❤ I'm speechless..

  7. spartacus2030 says:

Is her name spelled ” Ar Vhee “? If so, she visits my blog all the time… Good fortune to you both, whatever the case! I really like that painting of the bridge! Did you do that yourself?
