March 19 by The Running Son
had always been a bit off so no wonder
he’d never quite been established in a caste.
Around the sun we shared atmosphere
and seas boiled in warm communion
and he was in full momentum and arching
that tight wonderful smile, taunting the godstar
and risking any damn solar flare for awhile
at least, amazing, Pluto who’d been so far out there
so long cold in the center, alone and bare.
I say care for your present personal orbit
and forget this whole kinetic affair: I hear
200 years and a cleansing to the core
helps expel lingering planetary airs
for a score.
